Some things are now a given. AI answers customer questions, reviews first drafts of marketing content, and writes code from scratch. 85% of companies worldwide have already adopted AI agents for at least one task, AI handles 80% of customer service, and 84% of developers use AI coding tools.

So what about the teams that run brands? Marketing gathers data from several channels by hand to see how many resellers appeared after a product launch. Sales flips between dashboards and spreadsheets to find marketplaces where prices have collapsed. Legal builds the list of sellers to report one entry at a time and starts enforcement by hand.

Agents are part of everyday work, yet brand teams are still doing it by hand.

Agents are doing the work everywhere. Is brand management the exception?

There’s a reason for the irony. McKinsey’s 2025 State of AI report makes an important point: 78% of companies use AI, but only 5.5% see meaningful results. If you adopted AI and nothing changed, the problem isn’t the technology. It’s how the work is done. High performers are 3.6 times more likely than others to redesign their workflows.

Brand management is no different. One more monitoring tool doesn’t change how work gets done. The problem isn’t the number of tools. It’s that the data is scattered, and each team has its own. As long as the data marketing, sales and legal need is isolated in separate reports and dashboards, an agent will have limited effect.

Real change starts when all of a brand’s data is connected and an agent works on top of it.

Every team asks different questions, but the data has to be connected

More than one team runs a brand, and each needs something different from brand data. Today, each team moves between different screens, tools and reports to find its own data.

Marketing asks:

“How many more unauthorized resellers have appeared since the launch?” _
“How many accounts are running ads impersonating our brand right now?”_

Sales and channel teams ask:

“Where are the sellers pricing 20% or more below the official price right now?” _
“Before we negotiate with an overseas buyer, what’s the lowest selling price in Korea right now?”_

E-commerce asks:

“Pull the list of new gray-market sellers that appeared early this morning.” _
“Show me the top 10 SKUs whose prices fell compared with last week.”_

Legal and IP ask:

“What do we need to report today?” _
“How many times has this seller been caught in the past six months?”_

Executives ask:

“Simulate how much a 1% price drop affects annual revenue.” _
“Put together this week’s brand monitoring report.”_

Different questions are no reason for separate data. Quite the opposite. Brand management only really changes when every team’s questions can be answered from one connected data system.

The Brand Intelligence Agent: different teams, one source of insight

The Brand Intelligence Agent, which MarqVision unveils on June 29, connects every market signal that affects a brand, from prices, sellers and counterfeits to impersonator sites, domains and ads, into one intelligence.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re in marketing, sales or legal. Each team types the questions it already asks. The Brand Intelligence Agent works on the connected data and suggests the analysis, the insights and the priorities for action in one go. No more opening spreadsheets, flipping through tabs and waiting for reports.

June 29: running a brand gets easier

Agents now handle customer support, coding and content. It’s time brand management had one too.

Marketing, sales, e-commerce, legal: every team has questions it wants to ask.
