Saturation Rate

One number that shows
whether it’s working.

Takedown counts measure activity. Saturation Rate measures the share of search results your customers see that are counterfeit. One premium consumer brand reduced it from 46% to 26% in eight months.

The platform

Find the network,
then take it apart.

A few sellers do most of the damage, each behind many storefronts. MarqVision identifies them, documents the evidence and keeps them off the platforms.

  1. Seller Intel

    Stop networks,
    not listings.

Counterfeiters run dozens of storefronts at once. Seller Intel connects the ones that share a business registration, phone number, product images or warehouse address, so you can enforce against the operator, not just the listing.

    • Clustering across platforms and countries
    • Repeat offenders flagged automatically
    • Evidence packaged for marketplaces or MarqLaw
  2. Smart Rules

    Obvious fakes, handled
    while you sleep.

Set the rules your team already follows, such as prices far below MSRP, known seller clusters or your own product photos. MarqVision enforces matching listings automatically, and IP experts review anything borderline.

    • Rules per platform, product line, or market
    • Every automated action logged with its reason
    • Analyst review for anything uncertain
  3. Social and short video

    Dupes don’t only sell
    on marketplaces.

Counterfeits are promoted in TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, livestreams and DMs, then sold through links in bio. MarqVision reads logos, packaging and captions in video and follows each link to the sale.

  4. Test purchases

    Proof for the cases
    photos can’t settle.

Unpackaged products, superfakes and image-only listings need a physical check. MarqVision runs test purchases, inspects each product against your reference and adds the findings to the takedown or legal case.

    • Results in days, not weeks
    • Seller identity captured for follow-up
    • Chain of custody for litigation
How it works

From first scan
to a cleaner channel.

  1. 01

    Scan

We map where your brand sells and where it’s copied, starting with the platforms where your fakes actually sell.

  2. 02

    Verify

AI flags each listing with its reasons. Analysts check anything that isn’t clear-cut.

  3. 03

    Enforce

Takedowns go through each platform’s own process and are tracked to removal.

  4. 04

    Escalate

Repeat networks move to test purchases, investigations and MarqLaw.

  5. 05

    Report

Saturation Rate, revenue protected, and networks closed, in one dashboard.

The Big Red Boot had a big footprint across the planet. Right out of the box, we saw a deep and wide interest in this artwork, and with that wide interest, we saw a fast-follow of misappropriation.

Having MarqVision identify those folks helps us reach out. Sometimes, when people learn they’re using the marks without permission, they actually become new licensed partners. They want to do things the right way.

Frequently asked questions

Which platforms do you cover?
More than 1,500 marketplaces, social platforms and websites in 118 countries, including Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Mercado Libre, Shopee, Lazada, Coupang, Mercari and the Chinese platforms most vendors skip: Taobao, Tmall, JD.com, Pinduoduo, 1688, Xianyu, Xiaohongshu and Douyin. If your fakes sell somewhere we don’t cover yet, tell us and we’ll scope it.
How do you avoid taking down authorized sellers?
You decide what counts as authorized. We load your reseller list, your product catalog and your enforcement rules. Clear-cut fakes follow the Smart Rules you approve; anything the AI is unsure about is queued for an analyst, not enforced.
How fast are listings removed?
It depends on each platform’s own review process, so we don’t promise one number for all of them. In our pharma pilot the median was 5.3 hours. We track each case to removal and recheck for relistings.
What is the Saturation Rate?
The share of marketplace search results for your brand that are counterfeit. It is the number we use to show whether protection is working, because it reflects what your customers actually see. Lower is better.
What happens when sellers keep coming back?
Seller Intel groups storefronts that share a business registration, contact details, images, or warehouse into one network, so we enforce against the operator, not one listing at a time. For networks worth pursuing, MarqLaw runs test purchases, investigations, and raids.

your brand is.
