MarqVision reaches KRW 30 billion in annual recurring revenue (ARR) four years after launch

- Revenue more than doubled in about a year after reaching $10 million in ARR in the first quarter of last year
- All-in-one IP protection steadily advanced to keep pace with the digital threats spreading with generative AI
- New IP services to roll out step by step toward targets of $60 million in ARR in 2026 and $100 million in 2027
MarqVision, an AI-based integrated IP services company, announced that its annual recurring revenue (ARR) has passed $22 million (about KRW 30 billion), a little over four years after the official launch of its service.
ARR converts the revenue of a subscription service to an annual figure and is a key measure of a SaaS (software as a service) company's sustainability and growth. MarqVision launched its service in 2021, using AI and software it developed in-house to detect, analyze and take action against counterfeits, unauthorized sales, illegal content and brand impersonation, and reached $10 million in ARR in the first quarter of last year. It then doubled its revenue in just one year, drawing attention as one of the fastest-growing companies in the global AI-based SaaS market.
The growth reflects a shift in the market meeting a strategic product direction. With the rapid spread of generative AI, digital threats such as counterfeits, unauthorized sales and website and account impersonation are expanding on every front, and demand for brand protection is rising fast.
At the same time, to overcome the manual, fragmented approach of traditional IP services, MarqVision has steadily automated IP protection with AI and expanded into a solution that delivers every IP service in one all-in-one platform. Today MarqVision supports the full IP lifecycle of its customers and brands with an integrated product suite: ▲Marq AI, specialized in IP and brand protection ▲MarqFolio, which helps file and manage trademarks worldwide ▲MarqLaw, which provides offline investigation and enforcement services.
In 2024 alone, MarqVision took action against a total of 50.41 million brand infringements through Marq AI, up 66.5% year over year. Going beyond counterfeits and unauthorized sales, it has proven its technology by expanding into blocking illegal content such as games, webtoons and web novels, and fighting impersonation of companies and public figures. Its overall enforcement accuracy is 99.1%.
On the strength of these results, MarqVision has roughly doubled its number of customers year over year and keeps growing fast. Its customer base keeps widening: alongside industry-leading global brands such as LUSH and LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton), fast-growing emerging brands in Korea and abroad such as TIRTIR, Anua and Malbon Golf continue to join.
MarqVision aims to reach $60 million in ARR by 2026 and $100 million by 2027. Building on its existing solutions, it plans to roll out more than 60 modular products covering the full range of IP services, from IP licensing and IP brand asset management to IP creative generation, and evolve into “the IP operating system for the AI era.”
“As brand protection matters more and more in a fast-changing digital environment, we will do our best to make sure MarqVision's AI-based integrated solution keeps our customers' IP assets safe and turns into real business results,” said Mark Lee, CEO of MarqVision. “We will lead the KRW 100 trillion global IP market with technical innovation and customer-centered service.”
